Evelyne Nantermod was born in Switzerland, where she attended school and training.  She currently lives and works in French-speaking Switzerland, on the shores of Lake Geneva, working as a doctor specialising in women’s health. The constant search that motivates her life’s choices is fuelled by the desire to understand the mystery of living beings. She has tried to discover it, reading, studying and dreaming a lot. That is why she turned professionally to the field of women’s health, and continues to do so, because women are the heart of the world. Their genius, their goodness, their hardships, their bodies, their humour and their feminine grace have been the source of her artistic journey. They inspired my first paintings as a tribute that I had to proclaim loud and clear. Then the curves and lines became more refined and the symbolism and charm of a dreamlike elsewhere remained.

For Fair Art Lausanne 2023, she presented a series of 3 paintings inspired by a trip to Tuscany, the land of Cocagne, rich in hills, trees and light.
